SMS Opt-In

1. Overview

ALIGN Sports is operated by ALIGN Apps, LLC.

We send SMS text messages only when a user requests a one-time verification or password-reset code during signup or account recovery. We do not send marketing, promotional, recurring, or unsolicited text messages.

2. Signup phone verification

After registration, users verify their mobile number before continuing. Consent is shown in the app before any SMS is sent.

  1. The user opens the Verify your phone screen.
  2. The app shows the phone number on file and the SMS consent disclosure below.
  3. Consent disclosure shown before Send Verification Code:
    By tapping "Send Verification Code," you agree to receive one text message from ALIGN Sports at the mobile number provided containing a one-time phone verification code. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. View our Terms and Privacy Policy.
  4. The user taps Send Verification Code.
  5. ALIGN Sports sends one transactional signup verification SMS.

3. Password reset

Users who recover their account by SMS see consent before any message is sent.

  1. The user opens the ALIGN Sports password-recovery screen.
  2. The user enters or confirms their mobile phone number.
  3. Consent disclosure shown before Send SMS Reset Code:
    By tapping "Send SMS Reset Code," you agree to receive one text message from ALIGN Sports at the mobile number provided containing a one-time password-reset code. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. View our Terms and Privacy Policy.
  4. The user taps Send SMS Reset Code.
  5. ALIGN Sports sends one transactional password-reset SMS.
  6. No additional SMS messages are sent unless the user initiates another password-reset request.

4. STOP, START, and HELP

Every transactional SMS includes instructions to opt out or get help. Users can also text these keywords to our toll-free sender number.

  • STOP — opts out of future SMS from ALIGN Sports
  • START — opts back in to receive one-time security codes
  • HELP — returns support information and a link to our Privacy Policy

Opting out of SMS does not affect other Service features you choose to use.
