Use-case explanation

ALIGN Sports sends SMS text messages only when a user requests a one-time password-reset code. We do not send marketing, promotional, recurring, or unsolicited text messages.

How the user opts in

  1. The user opens the ALIGN Sports password-recovery screen.
  2. The user enters or confirms their mobile phone number.
  3. The following consent disclosure is displayed before the request button:
    By tapping "Send SMS Reset Code," you agree to receive one text message from ALIGN Sports at the mobile number provided containing a one-time password-reset code. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. View our Terms and Privacy Policy.
  4. The user taps Send SMS Reset Code.
  5. ALIGN Sports sends one transactional password-reset SMS.
  6. No additional SMS messages are sent unless the user initiates another password-reset request.
